ReadySkill is a mobile app designed to connect individuals to educational, social, food, and lifestyle resources.
The goal of this mobile app is also to connect individuals to employment partners who are in need of staffing. The goal is to get people educated in a field that fits their interests and personality, then find them gainful employment in that field.
A user would sign up for the mobile application, take assessments to determine their level of resource needs in areas like food assistance or childcare, then find out what fields interest them or fit their existing skills. The end goal is to upskill individuals and improve their overall quality of life.
Meigs Local Schools needed a total refresh. Website, logo, colors, everything.
We started with the logos and branding. They wanted to keep the Marauder mascot, but make it less intimidating and scary than past iterations. And they very badly needed a refresh since the image they were using was originally designed for a professional football team. The main image for the logo only took us a couple iterations to get to something that they liked, with some minor tweaks for things like text choices and outline colors. Final deliverables package for this included vertical and horizontal versions for all of their schools in several colorways.
After that was squared away, I moved on to the website. This also needed a total overhaul to be brought up to current responsive web standards, and to meet the current rules for ADA compliance. Check out the before and after images to see just how much was changed after the new design was approved.
I have been able to do a few projects for Onica. Redesigning presentations, and touching up logos, editing graphics, and even some minor branding work for their IoTanium devices.
Here’s a showing of some of those presentation images, along with the project to take the existing Onica branding and create an IoTanium logo to match.
Brand identity and logo creation, persona creation, wireframing.
This was my first time using Sketch’s collaborative beta. I was responsible for the creation of the logo, personas for the project overall, and shared responsibility for the wireframe effort.
Logo/brand included mood boards, initial sketches, presenting initial logo options. The client was overall positive about the options presented but wanted to explore one of my initial sketches further, which eventually became the final logo.
